Singapore Design Biennale 2027: International Open Call

Mark your calendars and coordinates. The inaugural Singapore Design Biennale 2027 will take place from 14 May to 20 June 2027, with the theme 1.35°N.

Building on Singapore’s global renown as a nation shaped by design, the Singapore Design Biennale succeeds the long-established Singapore Design Week with an expanded format that will be greater in ambition, scale and impact.

We are assembling a constellation of partners from across the global design eco-system and invite international, regional, and local programme partners to develop this new design experience for Asia with us in response to the Biennale’s theme.

1.35°N grounds the Singapore Design Biennale in place while looking beyond geography. We’re seeking works that approach this coordinate as a site of experimentation, collaboration and inquiry. This is where we spark conversations.

• Venue Host – for Singapore-based partners offering local venues/spaces
• Festival Sponsor – for partners keen to support SDB 2027 through sponsorship
