What happens when we use play as a lens to rethink the way we live, learn, create and connect?

Inspired by the belief that “Play is the highest form of research,” REINVENTION: ALLPLAY explores play as a way of investigating and navigating the world around us. Here, play extends beyond leisure and recreation. It becomes a mode of enquiry, inviting us to experiment, learn and imagine new possibilities.

From 11 August – 22 November, ALLPLAY is a season-long exploration that reimagines Singapore Science Park as a living laboratory for play, where evolving installations, immersive programmes and community-led experiences unfold across the Play Lab and Play Court. New programmes, activations, and experiences emerge throughout the season, inviting visitors to return and rediscover the festival over time.

Launched in 2025 as part of Singapore Design Week, Singapore Science Park’s inaugural edition of REINVENTION as a design district brought together over 100 industry, academic and community partners across science, technology and design through exhibitions, conferences, workshops and public activations. Supported by the DesignSingapore Council, the 2026 edition puts the spotlight on play as a catalyst for creativity, learning, wellbeing and social connection.

There are no right answers. No fixed path. No score to chase. The point is not to master play, but to discover where it can lead.
