As we celebrate our independence, come find out more about Singapore’s intangible cultural heritage in this talk by Mr Yeo Kirk Siang, Director of the Heritage Research and Assessment, National Heritage Board, and from local traditional craft practitioners who will be sharing more on their experience and practice. As design trends and consumer needs evolve, how can Singapore designers create products that embody and preserve our unique local heritage, and contribute to the survival of these valuable cultural practices, knowledge and skills across generations?
