Join the UNESCO Creative Cities of Design as we showcase design responses to COVID-19.
The X-Hood from Stuck Design will be the project from Singapore being showcased. The X-Hood is a lightweight, comfortable, and disposable face mask constructed from just two flat sheets. The wearable isolation shell acts as a barrier, offering greater protection than typical surgical face masks. Working with a major hospital in Singapore, the X-hood will help contain infectious droplets when patients are being transferred.
Hosted by the UNESCO Creative Cities Design Subnetwork & Kaunas 2022, The Power of Design will focus on how innovative design solutions have been used to support communities to adapt, stay safe and keep connected during these unprecedented times.
