Explore the opportunities and role of design in sustainability and food
Did you know that Singapore imports over 90 per cent of its food supply?
To strengthen our food security needs and tackle increasing food shortage, Singapore aims to produce 30 per cent of the nation’s nutritional needs locally by 2030. How will Singapore achieve this as a nation? How can businesses in the food sector innovate to play its role in Singapore’s Green Plan?
Join us on 20 October and hear Innovate360, The Soup Spoon, Chemistry and IPI Singapore share their experiences and opportunities in driving sustainability and innovation in their businesses, as well as leveraging design to understand users for innovation.
The speakers will convene in a concluding panel discussion and Q&A to discuss what role Singapore-based food companies can play to innovate business models to address the nation’s important issue on food security.
