Saturday Spotlight @ Orchard – an anchor event of Open Design Dialogue (ODD) – rounds off the week with a series of youth-led activations across Orchard and Somerset Belt. More than 80 young designers and collaborators will transform Singapore’s most iconic youth district into a living design playground.

Follow the Design In Situ: Lifestyle Trail to experience 9 brand x designer collaborations in-store, including Aesop, Nike, Beyond the Vines, In Good Company, Muji, and more. Visitors will also receive collectible tokens and stand a chance to win in a lucky draw.

ODD’s very own OFFSITE Creators Market opens for night shopping at *SCAPE, featuring over 30 creators and makers, free pizza and burgers as well as music by PK Records. Around the district, special CDC credits (Creative Dialogue Coins) will be up for grabs from ODD Ambassadors. CDC credits can be redeemed at the OFFSITE Creators Market.

Retrograde Runway Remix, a fashion showcase by Josiah Chua, features a series of looks that transform discarded garments into wearable art, drawing influence from nostalgia and contemporary streetwear culture. Taking place at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre, the show is a bold call for youth to dream and create, even in the face of limitations.

Somerset Threads will transform Somerset Belt into a living tapestry of memories, culture, and creativity. This researcher-guided tour encourages visitors to pause, explore, and connect with the stories woven into the murals and sculptures, as well as the spaces around them.

Visitors are also invited to check out a series of talks and workshops by FARM x WY-TO, Temasek Polytechnic School of Design, Estonian Association of Designers, and the National Gallery’s Roving Art Truck.

This event is part of a weekend series happening on the Fridays (Friday Late) and Saturdays (Saturday Spotlight) of Singapore Design Week 2025.

More information will be available on ODD’s Instagram account, @odd____odd.
