PLAY! – Tomorrow’s Tropical Cities’, is an exhibition that explores the concept of ‘Play’ in the context of the future tropical metropolis. Featuring innovative ideas of next generation designers from around the region and beyond, the exhibition is a response to the disruptions of emerging digital technology on our cities.

The exhibition posits that ‘Play’ is essential for people to thrive in current fluctuating conditions. Specifically for the tropical region, which has been characterised as the fastest developing region, it has become even more urgent to explore the role of ‘play’ in building resilient societies as the current global crisis unfolds.

Learn more about the exhibition and the ideas behind it at the accompanying PLAY! Tomorrow’s Tropical Cities: Virtual Tour and Dialogue.

Co-presented by the DSG Associates Network and DesignSingapore Council, and supported by the National Design Centre.

This event is part of the National Design Centre’s “Next Gen” programme line-up for October – November 2020.
