The National Vending Gallery presents 18 locally-designed card and board games assembled for its maiden topic No.1 CARDBOARD. Situated at the 2nd level of the National Design Centre, the unmanned gallery introduces and vends temporary collections that reveal the manifold influence of design gripping our lives.

Through a designer’s ingenuity, cardboard is transformed from a meek paper-like material to imaginative gameplays fit for social intercourse and experiential learning. Consider these games as an edifying domestic activity enjoyed with friends and family as we spend more time at home in the context of the pandemic.

Follow National Vending Gallery on Facebook and Instagram for more updates.

Discover more about National Vending Gallery’s first topic at its accompanying webinar, Local Design: Board Games.

This event is part of the National Design Centre’s “Singapore: Our Home” programme line-up for August-September 2020. Organised by DesignSingapore Council and supported by the National Design Centre.
