About Speakers

1. Kimming Yap, Managing Director, Creativeans

Kimming Yap is the managing director of Creativeans. A certified management consultant and an expert in brand and design strategies, he is also the author of branding book ‘Are You Brand Dead?’ and serves on the judging panel of Singapore Prestige Brand Award. Kimming currently serves as the Chairman of Singapore Manufacturing Federation’s Lifestyle Industry Group and is on the Executive Committee of Design Business Chamber Singapore. In 2019, he was conferred the title of Distinguished Professor at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts.He holds a Master of Design from Domus Academy, Milan.

2. Lim Min Li, Co-founder, DesignSG

Min Li is the co-founder of DesignSG, a Telegram community for designers in Singapore. She has been a mentor for aspiring UX designers at social enterprise Hatch and GovTech’s Girls in Tech programme. Min Li majored in communications at Monash University and completed her Masters in industrial design in Milan, Italy. After a hodgepodge of experiences in various start-ups ranging from hardware, healthtech, proptech, edtech, and teaching kids to code, she is now at GovTech, working with JTC’s Smart District Division.

3. Sean Loke, Team Leader, Digital & Technology, Kingfisher Recruitment Group

Sean currently leads the Regional Digital andTechnology team within Kingfisher Recruitment Group, aninternational recruitment firm. Prior to that, he led client development for iconic companies the likes of STB, Landorand FutureBrand.

4. Meryl Koh, Director, Intellectual Property & Dispute Resolution, Drew & Napier

Meryl Koh is a Director at Drew & Napier’s Intellectual Property (IP) and Dispute Resolution departments and has been highly ranked as a leading up-and-coming litigator by many prestigious legal publications. Her clients are leaders of various industries including hospitality, media, F&B, technology, agriculture, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical and she has acted successfully for them in trademark, copyright, patent and design litigation. Meryl also has an active practice in matters concerning defamation, employment as well as corporate and commercial disputes.

Meryl was appointed as an expert for WIPO’s Fast-Track Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution Procedure for Consumer Fairs in 2019.
