As a “venue for discovering a better life through design”, Seoul Design Week is one of Seoul’s most prominent design festivals, where designers, citizens, corporations, institutions, schools, and members of loacl communities come together, communicate and celebrate with one another.
Hosted by Seoul Metropolitan Government and organised by Seoul Design Foundation, this year’s Seoul Design Week will be held under the theme “Design for New Normal”. The online forum will thoughts of domestic and foreign designers on design cases and solutions in everyday life that cope with COVID-19. This online forum will consist of video screening of designers’ lectures and live panel discussions, and will be broadcast live on YouTube.
Wendy Chua & Gustavo Maggio, co-founders of Singapore multidisciplinary design practice Forest & Whale, will be presenting on “Cases of Social Design in the New Normal Era”.
