Seoul Design 2022 is an event in partnership with Seoul Design Week, a civic festival that communicates through design, and DDP Design Fair, Seoul’s representative design business launching show. The event takes place across 15 days and spans beyond the DDP to the entire Seoul area and the metaverse.
This year’s event theme is “beautiful life.” It is an encouragement to the beautiful daily life we have recovered after the Covid-19 pandemic, and a wish to communicate the role and value of design for a better human life and a sustainable future. At this event, global design trends are presented through design exhibitions/conventions, trend forums, markets, and projects, along with Seoul’s design ‘hotspot’ and new design products developed through collaboration between designers and small business owners. In addition, there will be an exhibition of workshop results where young designers imagine new designs and various programs for young designers to start their own businesses.
