In an ideas-driven economy, those who can overcome existing paradigms to enable economic and social innovation will lead the way. Design drives innovation by creating new value and markets, spurring economic competitiveness, as well as by offering a human-centred approach to tackling societal challenges. A workforce that is skilled in design can play an instrumental role in enabling our companies to remain competitive through innovation in the midst of industry transformation.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Design Strategy and Innovation (PGCert DSI) seeks to fill the industry need for design innovation training that is hands-on and applicable to current industry needs without being merely theoretical. Participants do not need to be from the design industry. In fact, participants who are experts in a particular field can be equipped with these transferrable principles and tools of design strategy and innovation.
