DesignSingapore Council presents the second edition of the Design Education Summit, a one-day organised in partnership with the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre based at the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
The Design Education Summit is a key platform for international and local educators and industry professionals to network and exchange ideas about the adoption of design in education. Learn from leading design practitioners and top educators as they share best practices in design education. This convening platform is part of the Design Industry Manpower Plan, an overarching talent development plan that cuts across the learning continuum, starting from building awareness and nurturing mindsets in the young to skills development and deepening abilities.
As part of the Summit, we are pleased to announce a Call for Stories on the Transformation of Education through Design for all educators and students, in both public and private education institutes from across the world. This call invites educators and students to share and celebrate their stories of using Design. We are interested in all design-related stories, be it successes, challenges, even the ones about how design has empowered individuals with the mindsets and skills for improving lives. Look out for more information, coming here soon, on how you can submit your stories!
